VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver is a video tool app. It lets you save videos you are allowed to save from supported websites, keep them in a downloads library, play them, edit them, and hide them in a PIN-protected Private Vault.

By installing or using VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver does not require an account. We do not ask for your phone number, contacts, location or any login to use the App.

2.1 Information You Give Us

  • Video Links: When you paste or open a link to download a video, that link is sent to our download server so it can read the video's title, thumbnail, duration and available qualities, and prepare the file. We do not link this to your identity.

  • Contact Us Form: If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus the time it was sent.

2.2 Information Stored Only on Your Device

  • Downloaded videos, edited videos and your downloads history.

  • Videos you move into the Private Vault.

  • Your Private Vault PIN, stored only as a salted, one-way hash. We never see or store the PIN itself.

  • Your settings, such as language and notification choices.

This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to us.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and App Information: Device model, Android version, app version, language and country.

  • Advertising Identifiers: Advertising ID and app-instance identifiers, used by our advertising and analytics partners.

  • Usage Events: Screens opened and features used, such as "download started" or "video edited".

  • Crash and Diagnostic Data: Crash logs and diagnostic data when the App stops working.

2.4 Permissions We Ask For

  • Internet and Network State: To load websites, download videos, show ads and check your connection.

  • Notifications: To tell you when a download finishes and to send app updates.

  • Folder Access (WhatsApp Status Folder): Only if you choose it, to show 

You can turn off any permission in your device settings. Some features may stop working without it.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide the App's features, keep it working and show ads.

App Features and Data Usage

  • Video Downloader: Uses the video link you paste or open. The link is sent to our download server; the video is saved on your device.

  • WhatsApp Status Saver: Uses statuses you have already viewed, from a folder you choose. Stays on your device only.

  • Video Player: Uses your downloaded files. Stays on your device only.

  • Video Editor (Trim, Split, Speed, Filters, Text, Stickers, Drawing, Frames): Uses videos you choose to edit. Edited on your device; nothing is uploaded.

  • Private Vault: Uses videos you hide and a PIN hash. Stays on your device only.

  • Language and Settings: Uses your choices. Stays on your device only.

  • Download Notifications: Uses download status. Stays on your device; push messages come through our notification service.

  • Contact Us: Uses your name, email and message. Sent to us so we can reply.

Other Uses of Information

We also use automatically collected information to:

  • Show and measure ads.

  • Understand which features are used, so we can improve them.

  • Find and fix crashes and bugs.

  • Change app settings remotely (for example, which websites appear on the home screen) without an app update.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only:

  • With the service providers listed in Section 5, so they can provide ads, analytics, crash reporting and data storage for us.

  • When required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority.

  • To protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or us.

  • As part of a merger, sale or transfer of the App, in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply.

Ads may be personalized using your Advertising ID. You can reset it or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google > Ads.

These providers may process information on servers outside your country. They apply their own safeguards for such transfers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local Data: Videos, Vault files, PIN hash and settings stay on your device until you delete them. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes them, except videos already saved to your gallery.

  • Video Links: Video links sent to our download server are used only to prepare the download and are not kept longer than needed for that purpose.

  • Contact Us Messages: Contact Us messages are kept only as long as needed to answer your request.

  • Third-Party Data: Analytics, crash and advertising data are kept by our service providers according to their own retention periods.

To ask us to delete any information you sent us, email us at the address in Section 12. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Security

Information sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

We also rely on the security measures of our service providers.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver is not directed at children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following options to manage your information and privacy:

  • Turn off notifications, storage access or folder access in your device settings.

  • Reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

  • Clear the App's cache from Settings inside the App.

  • Ask us to access, correct or delete information you sent us through Contact Us.

Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union under the GDPR or in California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights.

10. Third-Party Content and Copyright

VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the websites or platforms that can be opened in the App.

All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

VideoHub: Video Tools & Saver does not use the YouTube platform or any YouTube API, and downloading videos from YouTube is not supported in the App.

You are responsible for saving only content you own or have permission to save, and for following the terms of each website.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be posted at this link with a new "Last Updated" date.

Using the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
